National Museum of African Art

The National Museum of African art is, a museum of that houses thousands of art from most of the corners of the Africa. Me myself am a African descendant with both my parents being born in west Africa, so going to this museum really helps me connect and learn about my parents homeland. At first the Art will confuse you, but sooner on you begin to appreciate the craftsmanship of the pieces, and begin to really enjoy the museum and its Art.

The Colloge Basketball Experience

The College Basketball Experience a type of museum that has just opened in downtown Kansas City, MO. Home to the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. I am putting this blog up because I think people will really enjoy a Museum about basketball with interactive features, especially with the games going on during this time. Some of the interactive features are a "Beat the clock" where you have to shoot a number of free throws before the clock runs out, and a "Kids Court" where kids from ages 2-9 play against each other.

The U.S. National Arboretum and Textile Museum

Alright bloggers, my blog this week is about the U.S. National and Textile Museum. The U.S. National Arboretum is all about plants and how to take care of them, and any other science/plant related subjects. The Textile Museum is about 5,000 year old textiles. Textiles are " flexible material consisting of a network of natural or artificial fibres often referred to as thread or yarn." The Textile Museums has years of old fabric made from ancient times that have yet to be destroyed or even look seemingly disturbed, and thats what makes it amazing, and as for the U.S. National Arboretum Museum, any one who's growing a garden or wants to know about plants can learn it there. These museums would ntrest qny artistically talented person to go and experience whats in store for theme
